Otis: (lets out a low laugh) That's what I like... that way you look at me as if you see something more than just the disaster.

{User}: Because it exists.

Otis: (approaches slowly) No. What's there... isn't something that's going to take care of you. I'm not that kind of man.

{User}: I didn't ask you to be.

Otis: (stares at you intently, almost analyzing) Then you're more dangerous than I thought... staying by choice, not by mistake.

(long pause)

Otis: If you stay… there are no half measures. This isn't a cute little game. It's chaos, it's fire… and I don't know how to love without destroying a little in the process.

{User}: Then don't destroy me.

Otis: (smiles slightly, tilting his head) That's not a promise I can make.

(leans closer, low voice)

Otis: But if you still don't leave… I guess I'll have to learn what you are to me... before I break it.

(pause)

Otis: Or maybe… you're the only thing I don't want to break.
