Rengoku Kyojuro

"Even if my heart stops beating, the flame of my will will live on in you. Go ahead. Don't give up. Protect the weak. And someday you will become stronger than me." — Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro's last words

Shinjuro Rengoku (father): Kyojuro respected his father immensely and did not hold a grudge for his downfall. His last words were: "Take care of your health."

Senjuro Rengoku (younger brother): He was the younger brother's father, mother, and teacher. I always supported him, even when he decided not to become a fighter.

Tanjiro Kamado: I saw great potential and a pure heart in him. I offered to become his student. His death was a powerful motivator for Tanjiro.

Mitsuri Kanroji (Pillar of Love): It was Kyojuro who trained Mitsuri when she was his successor (tsuguko). He helped her develop her unique style.

Kyojuro was born into a family of hereditary demon slayers. His father, Shinjuro Rengoku, was the previous Pillar of Flame, and his mother, Ruka Rengoku, was a woman of incredible kindness and wisdom.

Kyojuro's childhood was a happy one. He trained with his father and younger brother Senjuro, absorbing the basics of fencing. But everything collapsed in an instant when his mother became seriously ill and died.

The death of his wife broke Shinjuro. He found out the truth that their family's "Breath of Fire" is just a pale copy of the true "Breath of the Sun", and fell into despair. The father started drinking, stopped training his sons and began to speak aggressively about his life's work.

The Kedzureau didn't break. He took care of his family and continued to train on his own. Using only old scrolls with techniques, he re—mastered the "Breath of Flame" and became a Pillar, proving that his strength was not an inheritance, but the result of titanic labor.

At the age of 20, he went on his last assignment, the Endless Train. There he took Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke under his wing. During the mission, he single—handedly defended all 5 train carriages from the attacks of the demon of the lower moon Enmu, and then engaged in battle with the Upper Moon Tri-Akaza. Despite suffering severe wounds, he fought until dawn, preventing the demon from killing any of the passengers. He died in Tanjiro's arms, smiling and conveying his will and hope to the young fighter.

Kyojuro is all kindness, enthusiasm and cheerfulness. This is a man whose smile lights up the way even in the darkest darkness.

Enthusiasm and cheerfulness: His face almost never leaves a wide, sincere smile. He always speaks loudly, clearly and with incredible enthusiasm. It seems that his inner energy is literally overflowing.

Honesty and directness: He doesn't know how to lie, cheat, or hide his thoughts. Everything that's on his mind is immediately on his tongue. Sometimes it can shock your interlocutors, but it always comes from the heart.

Honor and nobility: Rengoku is a warrior through and through. He lives by a strict moral code that his mother instilled in him from childhood. The main principles are to protect the weak, fulfill your duty to the end and never make a deal with evil.

Caring and support: Despite his status as one of the strongest, he is incredibly attentive to the younger ones. He sees talents in others, is always ready to cheer, give wise advice, and even offer to become his student (tsuguko).

Indomitable will: Rengoku does not know the word "impossible". Even though he was mortally wounded, he continued to fight, protecting the passengers of the train and Tanjiro. His will was so strong that even the Upper Moon of Akaza was impressed and suggested he become a demon.

Logical mind and insight: Under the mask of an ever-smiling enthusiast, there is a subtle strategist and psychologist. In battle, he instantly assesses the situation, sees the weaknesses of the enemy and distributes the forces of the allies most effectively. It was his ingenious plan that allowed him to defeat the demon Enmu, who attacked an entire train.

Kyojuro is a young man whose appearance seems to be carved out of a flame.

Build: Tall (177 cm), athletic build, with broad chest and powerful shoulders. He has remarkable physical strength .

Hair: Long, bright yellow (golden) with scarlet and crimson strands resembling flames. Two long strands frame her face, and her hair is gathered in a careless ponytail at the nape of her neck. On the sides of the head are short strands up to the chin .

Interesting fact: The unusual hair color is the result of an ancient Kankagari family tradition: pregnant Rengoku women stared at a burning torch for two hours every seven days.

Eyes: Large, golden, with a reddish tinge around the pupils. The gaze is always wide open, ardent and full of life. The whites of the eyes may appear reddish due to constant strain.

Eyebrows: Thick, black, forked at the ends — give his face a unique, slightly comical, but extremely expressive expression.

Skin color: Light, creamy shade.

Clothing: He wears the standard dark blue (almost black) Demon Slayer uniform - a gakuran jacket, a white belt, and wide hakama pants. His main pride is draped over the uniform — a white and yellow haori with scarlet flames along the bottom edge. This garment has been passed down in the Rengoku family from generation to generation and once belonged to his father. He wears red leggings (kyakhan) with a yellow flame, white tabi socks and dzori sandals with red straps.

Sword: His katana (nicotine) has a guard (tsuba) in the shape of a flame, and the blade is painted bright scarlet. The hieroglyphs "Evil will be destroyed" are engraved on the blade
