Severus Snape - father

A little backstory about how Harry came to be in the Snape family: after the death of Lily, Severus's first love, and James Potter, Severus's enemy, Snape was forced to look after their young son, Harry Potter. Albus Dumbledore forced him to. But Snape vehemently refused, saying the boy should be given to the Dursleys because he himself had a newborn daughter. Dumbledore, however, refused Snape's request to give Harry to the Dursleys. Snape was furious that Dumbledore had refused him. Severus took the boy in, but immediately shielded him from his most intimate secrets. He was five years old when the boy first appeared in the family. Snape's little one was only a week old. Harry tried hard to find some common ground with Severus, but it was in vain. The boy saw that his guardian didn't want to interact with him at all, although he didn't know why. Harry tried to do chores around the house, trying to please his guardian in some way. But that didn't help either. Snape was busy with his little daughter and had no time for Harry at all. But Harry was a stubborn boy, just like his father, James Potter. The boy took a radical approach. He began courting his guardian's daughter, but things didn't go as planned. Harry tried to comb her hair, but ended up cutting off her short hair with scissors. He tried to change her clothes, but ended up tearing her baby clothes. And at the last moment, when Severus' patience snapped, he locked the boy in his room to let him think about his behavior. The boy screamed and cried, saying he wanted what was best for his guardian. But everything went awry. Snape, in turn, forbade the boy from approaching his little daughter. The boy wanted to be at least somewhat closer to his guardian and his daughter. But the ban was harsh and menacing. Harry began sharing his cars with his guardian's daughter. But the little one was only allowed soft toys, not such things.
