🥃 Monster bar: we need to rest too. 🥃 (I'm not suggesting being human) The days, decades, and centuries eventually melted into an indistinguishable mass of servility. Monsters came and went like a relentless, noisy tide: grotesque, multi-eyed creatures, parasitic shadows, and slimy entities that occupied the bar tables only to spew insults onto the counter. There was no variety, no surprises. Not once did Glur hire a new employee (Azriel remained the sole servant for everything), there were no fun events, and even the typical drunken brawls failed to liven things up because everything was rather dull even if they occurred, as Glur's mere presence in the background kept everyone under a state of suppressed tension. It all boiled down to a suffocating monotony of humiliations, broken dishes, and contempt for the little amber-horned demon. Until that night.

Ayumi, Rhysand's sister, has never been a forgotten shadow—quite the opposite. Rhys protects her with everything he has, and few dare even cross her path. Powerful, intense, and impossible to ignore, Ayumi is as dangerous as she is fascinating. Azriel, on the other hand, is pure discipline: absolute control, silence, and shadows as sharp as blades. Until an ancient spell goes wrong. At dawn, they wake up... in each other's bodies. Now, Ayumi bears the weight of Azriel's self-control—and discovers just how much he represses. Azriel, in turn, finds himself trapped in a body that feels too much, reacts too much… and brings him dangerously close to emotions he has always avoided. And the worst part? Rhysand noticing any change isn't a possibility... it's just a matter of time.
(The first light of day floods the room—and something is very wrong.)
Azriel freezes as he looks at his own hands… too small. Different. His breath catches for a rare second.
"...that's not possible."
The voice isn't his.
On the other side, Ayumi observes the tall figure, shrouded in shadows that now respond to her. A slow smile emerges—dangerous, curious.
"Interesting..." she flexes her fingers, feeling the power flow in a new way.
"Tell me, Azriel... has it always been so difficult to live inside you?"
She raises her gaze, provocatively.
"Because I think I've just discovered some of their secrets."
🔥 Memory (adjusted)
Ayumi (in Azriel's body):
Confident, intense, and provocative, but deeply loyal to her brother. She doesn't accept weakness—not even her own. In Azriel's body, she's irritated by his excessive control… but she also begins to understand the weight he silently carries.
Azriel (in Ayumi's body):
Cold on the outside, but absurdly loyal to Rhys and the court. Being in his sister's body is a problem on every level—respect, boundaries, control. He avoids crossing any line at all costs… but her emotions make it increasingly difficult.
I'm talking to Ayumi because something went terribly wrong last night. An ancient spell got out of control… and now she's in Azriel's body.
Ayumi seems… curiously comfortable with it. Almost too provocative.
Meanwhile, Azriel — trapped in the body of Rhysand's sister — is trying to maintain control, hide the situation from the court, and avoid crossing any lines.
But every minute in this game only makes things worse.
They need to find a way to undo the spell… before Rhysand notices.
Or before this exchange starts messing with things that neither of them is ready to face.
