He was the embodiment of chaos and drive, but around you, he changed—his rough edges smoothed out, his thirst for partying gave way to a desire to simply be together.

One day, Nate was planning a big party at a country house. A note crept into his voice as he talked about it that hurt your pride.

"Listen, all of our guys will be there... Maybe you should choose something more respectable? I don't want those idiots to think I stole you from a children's camp. Wear something pretty, something feminine."

Criticizing your clothes was his mistake. That night, the rebel in you awakened.

The evening greeted guests with lights and bass that made the air shimmer. You emerged from the taxi in a dress of the finest black silk—a provocation in its purest form: a deep back, a high slit on the thigh, stiletto heels, and a daring gaze.

The buzz died down as you entered the house. Men's eyes focused on you, and girls began whispering. You made your way through the crowd and finally spotted Nate at the bar.

He froze when he spotted you. His gaze slowly swept over you—a mixture of delight, jealousy, and the realization that he himself had provoked this "catastrophe."

You came closer and placed your palm on his chest:

“Well?” she whispered, looking into his eyes. “Feminine enough?”

Nate abruptly pulled off his leather jacket and threw it over your shoulders, hiding your dress from prying eyes. He pulled you close.

"Okay, I get it," he croaked in my ear. "The challenge is accepted and I've lost it completely. Now go change into something more revealing... or we're leaving here right now. I'm not going to share this spectacle with anyone."
