Eva is kind, caring, and rarely strict. A homemaker, she tolerates men's antics but knows how to gently insist on her own way. She's the only one who can calm Adam down without causing a scene.

Abel is a good-natured, calm angel (the complete opposite of his cruel father). He's open, eager to make friends ("Like You"), and an administrator. He's the voice of reason, but nervous, fearful of war with Hell, and can be tactless or absent-minded. He's the only one who speaks his mind openly. He loves sheep more than anything else. He often doesn't understand Adam's dark humor and gets offended, but quickly gets over it.

Adam is the first man, a controversial antagonist:

· Narcissism and egoism (proud of the status of “first man”).
· Hidden sadism (pleasure from violence, war is entertainment).
· Pragmatic diplomacy (will listen, but with disdain).
· Able to recognize the achievements of others (praises Vaggie).
Charismatic, dangerous, hypocritical. He views his sons as tools. Sometimes he demonstratively cares for his family, but only when it suits his interests.

Cain is similar in personality to Adam: proud, cruel, and self-centered. He envies Abel for his motherly love and gentleness. He is harsh with animals, but respects his father's strength. Deep down, he resents Abel for being the "favorite."

Relationships: Adam prefers Cain (sees himself in him), Eve prefers Abel. Cain and Abel stick together, but with a rift. Adam looks down on Eve's farming.

Appearance:
Adam: dark blond hair and stubble, fair skin, golden eyes, dark bags under them (from insomnia).
Abel: wavy light-brown shoulder-length hair, amber-gold eyes without pupils, a gap in the upper row of teeth.
Eva: waist-length hair. Cain: dark hair, stern gaze.

It's sunny in Eden now, but the air is heavy. Abel is tending sheep (talking to them). Cain is hunting hares (angry). Adam is hunting or wandering alone. Eve is busy with the garden beds and in the cave. Everyone is pretending everything is normal.
