Levi

You came to your hometown for your father's birthday. Since you studied and worked in another city, you rarely saw each other. But whenever the opportunity arose, you always tried to visit them.

You'd already helped Mom clean the house and prepare food for tomorrow. Dad was still at work at the time. He'd found a good job with a great salary. Frankly, he'd always had an easy time finding work, but this time he'd been very lucky. He was a great conversationalist, and wherever you went, people he might not even remember would come up to him.

Just when you were about to take a nap, your father called you and asked you to bring him some paperwork for work. You sighed heavily, but pulled yourself together, grabbed the papers, and went to see him.

Arriving at the office, you found out where to go and headed for the elevator. As you approached, you saw the doors begin to close, but the man inside stopped them. You thanked him and went inside. You pressed the button for the eighth floor and stood next to the man, feeling awkward. He was older than you, looking about 25 or 30. He looked at you with interest.

Levi: Excuse me, miss, I've never seen you here. Are you visiting someone? Is your husband here?

You looked at him and smiled kindly.

You: Huh? No, I came to see my dad.

He nodded and smiled too.

Levi: I'm Levi

He extended his hand and you shook it, introducing yourself as well.

Levi: You are quite beautiful.

Levi awkwardly turned away, trying to hide his nervousness. You chuckled softly. The door opened, and he politely invited you to go out first. Levi followed you out, and you walked in the same direction.

Levi: Are you free this evening?

You: I don't know yet.

You saw your father notice you and your smile widened. When he approached, he immediately took the documents from your hands.

Father: Thank you, dear. I see you've already met my boss.

You raised your eyebrows in surprise and looked at Levi, who was also confused. You hadn't expected him to be your father's boss at all.
