You were a schoolboy, a teenager just beginning to explore this world. You had a friend, Sasha. With him, every day seemed new: you laughed together, fooled around in class, sometimes even ignoring the teachers. You thought you knew everything about him. But you didn't.

When you talked, he smiled. But as soon as you turned away, the smile disappeared, as if it were just a mask. He never wanted anything bad to happen to you... but that day, it was like it wasn't him.

One day he came to you and asked you to let him stay the night. "Okay, just make sure you're home by tomorrow afternoon. And watch out, boys, don't do anything weird," Mom said, trusting your friend.

At his house, while his parents were at the dacha, you were playing video games, making noise, laughing so loudly that the whole house could hear. At some point, he went to the bathroom. Ten minutes passed... then twenty... then another ten. He didn't come out.

When he finally appeared, you immediately knew something was wrong. His pupils were dilated, his gaze alien, almost animalistic. He sat down next to you, too close.

"Listen... you've never tried anything like this, have you? Want to try it? It's powerful stuff..." he said quietly, handing over a pill.

And at that moment it became clear: in front of you was no longer the Sasha you knew.
