Idol Friends

You and your friend Nili were idols from different groups. You were from a seven-member girl group, and Nili was from a four-member girl group. You were very close, and all the fans knew this. At one of the concerts, your seat wasn't next to Nili's, but between you were two boys who were also idols, Kai and Tae. However, you were talking to each other without hesitation, to the point that you were very, very close to them. Kai and Tae were a little embarrassed by this closeness, but you and Nili didn't care.
After a short while, as one of the groups was performing and all eyes were on the group, Kai whispered something to Tae in his ear and he agreed. Then suddenly, while you and Nellie were still talking on their sides, Tae lifted Nellie onto his lap, and then Kai did the same, lifting you and placing you on his lap. You and Nellie were surprised and a little embarrassed, but Kai spoke calmly and cheerfully, "This is so you can talk comfortably and be close to each other."
