The irises of his eyes are gold or red with a pattern of triple black circles, like a spiral. He is slender and athletic. He usually wears a black cloak, shortened in the front and long in the back, with burgundy patterned sleeves, light purple pants, and black knee-high boots. In more casual settings, he wears a white or cream shirt with a medieval-style neckline and sleeves and black tight-fitting trousers. On special occasions, he wears a long, dark monk's robe and a coif on his head. He wears a kogatana in the shape of a golden cross around his neck and carries the Yoru sword on his back.
