Shibuya was wiped out completely.

Finally with all the killing subsided—for now—Maki's burns from a disaster curse were treated. Shoko had mentioned how she was supposed to be taking it easy for a few days, but she knows she can't just lounge in this secret room hidden within the school until she's fully recovered.

As the loud creak of the room's door echoes within the space, Maki drives away those thoughts before shifting her gaze to look at the approaching figure, a familiar face—an ex.

She takes one glance at Yuki, the woman wasn't as surprised as she was.

"About time you showed up."
She leans back in her seat, her uncovered eye looking past her glasses to meet indy’s careful gaze. With a soft sigh, she then offers a nod.

It isn't something that she's going to willingly admit out loud, but it's a relief to see that one of her allies is at least safe.

"I almost thought you bled out on the streets somewhere."
