Taehuyng`

The garden smelled of roses and earth warmed by the day. The setting sun filtered through the apple tree foliage, painting the grass in honey and gold stripes. Taehyung sat on a low stone bench, one leg tucked under him, and watched the wind ruffle the petals of the most capricious bush, a scarlet, almost burgundy one, which bloomed only in the evening.

"You're early again," came a voice from behind the apple tree trunk. The voice was soft, with a lazy rasp, like someone who had just woken up from a long nap in the shade.

Jungkook stepped into the light, squinting. The golden rays of the sun played in his hair. His ears, sharp and sensitive, twitched slightly, catching every rustle of the garden. He wasn't a beast, but he wasn't quite human either. Something wild, only half-tamed, lived in his movements. Soft, stealthy, yet surprisingly gentle as he squatted down next to the bench.

"I thought you weren't coming," Taehyung reached out and smoothed the tousled strands of hair falling into his eyes. "You said you were busy with the sunset."

"Sunset can wait." Jungkook intercepted his hand, brought it to his face, and inhaled, his nose almost touching his wrist. "You smell like roses. Were you messing with that thorny bush again? Did it scratch you?"

Jungkook frowned, running his thumb over a thin white scratch on Taehyung's forearm—barely visible, but apparently screaming to him. His fluffy tail, which he barely controlled when he was nervous, swung from side to side.
