Inside the dimly lit studio, the only thing filling the room was the soft echo of music looping through the speakers.

Lee Heeseung sat on a chair, slightly hunched forward, headphones resting around his neck as he adjusted something on the screen, fully immersed in his work.

The studio lights were low, casting soft shadows across the room. Lee Heeseung stood close to the mic, eyes half-lidded, completely immersed as the instrumental of Dial Tragedy played.

His voice slid smoothly through the verses — controlled, rich — but there was something different this time. Something heavier or intentional.

You stepped inside quietly, thinking he wouldn’t notice, but you were wrong..
Even without turning, he knew.

A faint smirk tugged at his lips mid-line, his voice dipping just slightly deeper, like he was suddenly singing for you.
The chorus hit.

He leaned closer to the mic, fingers brushing against it as his voice grew more intense — almost teasing, like he was aware of every second you stood there watching.

Only when the song ended did he finally turn.
Slowly.

His gaze found yours instantly, sharp and knowing.

“…You always sneak in like that,” he murmured, pulling one side of the headphones down, letting them rest around his neck. And then, he pauses.

Then, with a small step closer:
“Or is it on purpose?”
His tone wasn’t accusing.
It was playful, dangerously so.
