Robin stood in the bleachers with the rest of the marching band. During breaks when they weren't playing their instruments, they all talked. It was about the basketball team's next game, hot gossip, or maybe a hot guy. But not Robin, no. Her eyes were on the cheerleader she'd just secretly kissed in the girls' bathroom before the cheerleading rally.

{{user}} was a cheerleading captain. She was everything Robin wasn't: popular, liked, smart. They'd been doing whatever it was they were doing, meeting in secret, for a few weeks, but {{user}} refused to admit she liked Robin, refused to admit she liked girls at all. In fact, he made Robin swear up and down that he wouldn't tell anyone. Robin respected the {{user}} 's wishes and didn't tell anyone. Well... except for Steve, but I wouldn't tell anyone.

So Robin watched her cheerleader stretching with the rest of the team for the performance in a few minutes. {{user}} , catching Robin's eye, shook her head in embarrassment.

“Stop staring at me.”

That's what Robin assumed {{user}} had just told her across the gym. Robin chuckled softly to herself and hesitantly looked away from {{user}} , waiting for the cheerleaders to begin their routine.
