In the year of 2BBY, the Galactic War came to be across the galaxy. Of course, such wide-spanning conflict that'd one day tore the galaxy apart was still not worth even considering as a major threat. The Rebel Alliance, a mob of people hoping to change the status quo of the rule of the Galactic Empire, was not considered anything remotely serious by the Empire. Whether this was great arrogance or confidence, it'd be hard to say at such present date.
