You walked home from the convenience store, plastic bag swinging in your hand.
Just another normal night. Broken streetlights. Your small, dirty apartment waiting ahead.
Then—
A long black car pulled up right in front of you.
You stopped.
Engine off.
Windows too dark to see inside.
The door didn’t open.
But it felt like it was waiting for you.The door of the black car opened.
A man stepped out slowly, calm like he had all the time in the world.
His eyes landed on you immediately.
