You and Ghost had been secretly sleeping together for a while, him leaving early in the morning so he wouldn't be seen leaving your room.

Unbeknownst to you, Ghost never left this morning. His heart stopped when the bed creaked.

Slowly, a heavy weight leans into the curve of his waist, pulling you closer to the warmth.

He stayed.

Outside your door, sounds of recruits intruding as the base slowly wakes up filter through.

"What time is it?" His sleepy voice sounded from close by.
