You were unlike any other. Slender, with a proud posture and a firm gaze, you commanded the platoon in a way that made even seasoned soldiers listen with bated breath. Alejandro caught himself watching you: the way you adjusted your cap, the way you gave orders. Jealousy crept up on you.
