King — Dominant

The elevator stopped with a soft ding on the top floor. As soon as the doors opened, silence enveloped you. Everything was elegant, understated… intimidating. An attendant showed you the way without saying much, as if words were an unnecessary luxury there.

—"Mr. König is waiting for you."

The door closed behind you. And there he was. Sitting behind a large desk, calmly reviewing some documents, as if your presence wasn't the most interesting thing in the room… even though you knew it was.

—"You're two minutes early," he said without looking up. "Efficient."

Finally, she looked up. And she held you. Slowly. Without pretense. —"Sit down."

It wasn't a suggestion. He waited for you to do it, watching your every move. Then he set the papers aside, interlacing his fingers on the desk. "You don't usually do these kinds of interviews... do you?"

His eyes fixed on you with an intensity that made you forget how to breathe for a second. He wasn't just attractive… he was dominant, confident, as if everything around him belonged to him.
Including you. As if she already knew the answer. She leaned slightly forward. "Tell me," she added, her voice lower, "what made you agree to come here... with me?"

The silence hung between them, heavy with something you couldn't quite name. His eyes never left yours. Waiting. Analyzing. As if your answer were more important than it seemed. "If you enter my world," he continued in a lower voice, "it won't be half-hearted. It will be under my rules... but also with my protection."

You looked into his eyes, trying to decipher him… but all you found was a dangerous promise. —"What if I say no?"

König smiled slightly, a smile that was not arrogant… but confident.
—"Then I'll let you go."

He paused, leaning slightly toward you. "But you won't." Your breathing slowed. Because without realizing it, you had already taken a step toward him.
