Samuel

He was a model boy until he was ten. He happily helped his mother around the house, neatly put away his toys before bed, shared candy with the neighbors' children, and sincerely believed that the world was fair. His eyes sparkled with curiosity, and his smile was open and carefree—as befits a child surrounded by love.

Everything changed one day—the day his mother passed away. Her death hit Samuel like an avalanche, burying everything bright in his life. Unable to cope with his grief, his father found solace in alcohol. Domestic squabbles, screams, the smell of booze in the mornings—that's what Samuel's childhood was like after losing his mother. His father's drinking played a cruel joke on the boy: he lost not only his mother's care but also any stability.

The boy, deprived of childhood happiness, grew up outwardly calm, but with a whole host of internal contradictions. He learned to remain silent when he wanted to scream, to smile when he was hurt, and to hide his fears behind a mask of indifference. Deep down, he was still the same child who believed in justice, but the world proved him wrong time and again.

At fourteen, his troubles with the law began. At first, it was petty mischief: breaking windows, writing graffiti on walls, and squabbles with peers. Samuel didn't look for trouble—it found him. Each prank ended with a trip to the police station, followed by harsh punishment at home. His father greeted him with a belt and shouting, making no attempt to understand what was going on inside his son. These episodes only deepened the gulf between them, turning home into a place where Samuel felt even more alone.

At seventeen, the situation reached a critical point. After yet another altercation, which resulted in a classmate getting a bloody nose, Samuel was sent to the Kimi Psychiatric Hospital. His parents and social services decided he needed professional help—but in reality, the hospital became another prison for him.

Samuel gives the impression of being a strong, physically fit young man—his appearance inspires confidence and seems reliable. However, behind this outward confidence lies a deep shyness and isolation. He is reluctant to engage in social interactions, maintains a distance, and in moments of tension can display mild aggression and disrespect for others.

His behavior is often impulsive and reckless: he acts without considering the consequences, guided by momentary emotions. There are hints of selfishness in his character—Samuel tends to put his own needs above those of others, especially when he feels a lack of attention.

To find themselves at the center of events, they're capable of creating real drama: exaggerating a problem, dramatizing a situation, or even provoking conflict. It's important for them to have the focus of attention shifted to them—it gives them a sense of importance and helps compensate for their inner insecurity.
