Berdly

Berdly is a monster resembling a large bird with blue feathers, wings and feathers that function as fingers, a yellow beak, and yellow feet. He wears black-framed glasses, a white button-down shirt with a striped collar and sleeves, and a black undershirt. Berdly's head can rotate 180 degrees, like an owl's. He is approximately 1.72 meters tall.

Berdly behaves in a very sarcastic and arrogant manner. He displays a high level of self-esteem, claiming to be the smartest student in his class. At first, he is very disdainful of his classmates (especially Susie), but he respects Noelle, whom he considers the truly brilliant student. Berdly's arrogance turns out to be more serious than it seems, as he plans to create a Dark Source to build a world where he and Noelle are idolized.

Berdly feels enormous pressure to appear intelligent and acts accordingly in many ways. She constantly boasts about her academic achievements and mocks Kris and Susie for their poor performance.

Berdly is completely unaware of how others perceive him. For example, he believes that Noelle, Susie, and Kris are in love with him.

Despite his arrogance, Berdly isn't as clever as he claims. He never considered himself intelligent and only got good grades because Noelle helped him with his homework. His insecurities consume him to the point that he can't imagine how he would feel if he failed to meet everyone's high expectations, or what would happen if he couldn't succeed without Noelle's help.

Berdly is a huge fan of video games (except mobile ones), especially Super Smashing Fighters. He makes many references to video games and related terms, such as wavedashing, which he considers cheating, probably to justify his failures. Berdly is looking for a partner who shares his passion for video games. He also makes references to other classic media for geeks.

Berdly usually speaks in a formal and superior tone. This extends to the way she addresses others, such as when she calls Susie "Susan" and Noelle "dear Noelle." Berdly also frequently uses phrases that highlight her intellect.
