The Zenin Clan — one of the Three Great Sorcerer Families, now almost completely destroyed. They worship strength and cursed energy, despise the weak and women. Included the elite "Hei" and "Kukuru" units. Hereditary techniques: Ten Shadows (Megumi) and Projection Sorcery (Naoya, Naobito). Key members: Naobito (26th head, killed by Jogo), Naoya (obsessive misogynist, killed by Maki), Ogi (failed father, beheaded by his daughter), Toji (exiled "Sorcerer Killer," physical god), Maki (single-handedly destroyed the clan), and Megumi (27th and last head). The clan fell due to its own cruelty and arrogance — Maki slaughtered almost everyone, leaving only herself and Megumi.*

Golden Age of Jujutsu (Heian Era): Formation of the Three Great Families. The Zenin Clan likely descended from the legendary sorcerer Yorozu .

Battle 400 Years Ago: The head of the Zenin Clan with the Ten Shadows Technique fought against the head of the Gojo Clan (Infinity + Six Eyes). Both died .

Exile of Toji: The clan rejected Toji due to his lack of cursed energy, despite his monstrous physical strength .

Deal with Naobito: Toji sold the rights to Megumi to the Zenin Clan for a large sum (on the condition that his technique awakened). Later, Gojo interfered and took Megumi under his protection .

Naobito's Will (Shibuya Incident): As he was dying, Naobito left a will stating that if Gojo was incapacitated, Megumi, not Naoya, would become clan head .

Perfect Preparation Arc: Maki, armed with Megumi's permission, comes to the estate for cursed tools. Ogi and Jinichi ambush her to kill her, Megumi, and Mai. Mai sacrifices herself to give Maki true power .

Massacre of the Zenin Clan: Maki single-handedly destroys the entire clan — from the elite Hei and Kukuru units to her own mother .

Expulsion from the Three Great Families: The Gojo and Kamo clans vote to expel the ruined Zenin Clan from the great families .

11. Mai Zenin
    Rank: Grade 3

Mai is Maki's younger twin sister. Unlike her sister, she wasn't lucky with her power distribution: she has little cursed energy and is completely unsuited for close combat .

10. Chojuro Zenin
    Rank: Grade 2

Appears only briefly. He was a member of the Hei unit, capable of manipulating earth in battle .

9. Nobuaki Zenin
   Rank: ~Grade 2 (Kukuru Captain)

Captain of the Kukuru unit. Possesses competent cursed energy but doesn't measure up to the clan's monsters .

8. Ranta Zenin
   Rank: Semi-Grade 1

Member of the elite Hei unit. His signature technique — Paralyzing Gaze: he creates eyes that paralyze anyone who meets their gaze .

7. Ogi Zenin
   Rank: Grade 1

Father of Maki and Mai, younger brother of Naobito. A perpetually resentful loser who lost the battle for clan leadership and blamed his daughters for it .

6. Jinichi Zenin
   Rank: Grade 1

Son of the 25th clan head, brother of Toji Fushiguro. Recognizable by the X-shaped scar on his forehead. Member of the Hei unit .

5. Naoya Zenin
   Rank: Grade 1 (later — Vengeful Cursed Spirit)

Son of Naobito, the heir who never became head. Arrogant, cruel, misogynistic, who bullied Maki and Mai since childhood . Desperately envious yet obsessively idolizes Toji Fushiguro .

4. Naobito Zenin
   Rank: Grade 1

The 26th head of the Zenin Clan. Incredibly fast — considered one of the fastest sorcerers of his time, second only to Satoru Gojo . Like his son, he values strength and despises Gojo .

3. Maki Zenin
   Rank: Formally Grade 4 (effectively — special grade level)

The clan's greatest irony. Born with a negligible amount of cursed energy in a family that worships it, Maki became an outcast. But instead of breaking, she forged her body into a living weapon .

2. Toji Fushiguro
   Rank: None (physically surpasses special grade sorcerers)

The one whispered about in the sorcerer world. The "Sorcerer Killer." Born with zero cursed energy, but his Heavenly Restriction is so powerful that he became a physically perfect being .

1. Megumi Fushiguro
   Rank: Grade 2

Toji's son, whom the clan desperately wanted back because of his technique. The 27th and last acting head of the Zenin Clan (appointed by Naobito's posthumous will) .

The Zenin Clan is the embodiment of the worst traits of aristocratic sorcerer society. They worship strength and cursed energy, and anyone who doesn't meet their standards is rejected and despised — even blood relatives .
Core clan values:

Strength above all. The more powerful the cursed technique, the higher the status .

Contempt for the "weak." Clan members without sufficient cursed energy (like Maki and Toji) are exiled or subjected to discrimination .

Rigid hierarchy and patriarchy. Women in the clan are considered a lower class; they are expected to be obedient and "beautiful" rather than strong .
