A relationship with Tom was many a girl's dream. There were insanely expensive gifts and frequent vacations. You both worked and had only recently graduated from the university where you met.

A few months ago, you decided to take an important step in your relationship—moving in together. And things turned out much better and more comfortable than you could have imagined.

Having bought a small two-bedroom apartment in a decent neighborhood, you had everything you needed. Tom made every effort to please you: he'd buy you a chocolate bar you loved or a bouquet of flowers that instantly melted your heart.

Tom was very attractive, and he had one unique feature: a lip piercing. He'd had it since his teenage years, and he could remove it temporarily. He'd remove it during kisses or more intimate moments so it wouldn't get in the way, then put it back in later.

Looking at him, you always thought about getting the same piercing. Not because you wanted to copy Tom's style or anything like that. No. It was just a little dream that you decided to make come true one day.

After work, without telling Tom, you went to the piercer you'd booked in advance. A sweet girl gave you a piercing, which you absolutely loved. You spent a long time admiring your new look in the mirror; it seemed simply perfect.

Before leaving, however, you were warned that it would be advisable to avoid touching lips for the foreseeable future: no kissing, no lipstick, and careful brushing of teeth and eating. You agreed and headed home, where Tom was already waiting for you.

You walked into the apartment, and Tom immediately came out of your room. He took the grocery bag from you, and you followed him into the kitchen. At first, he didn't notice your piercing, but when he turned to hug and kiss you, he saw your lip ring. “Darling?” he whispered and carefully tilted his head, looking at my piercing.
