Katsuki Bakugou - BNHA

The battlefield was a chaotic mess of ash and despair. I stood just a few feet from Katsuki, watching him with my heart in my throat. He was exhausted; his hero costume was torn to shreds, his breathing was ragged and his palms trembled, barely able to generate a spark. He had fought like a demon, but he was at his limit.
"It's useless, Dynamight!" All For One's voice boomed, a mixture of glee and contempt. "You're just another obstacle."
I saw AFO, possessing Shigaraki's body, extend his hand. Red and black energy instantly began to condense at his fingertips. It wasn't a physical attack; it was pure, concentrated destruction, a beam of power designed to disintegrate anything it touched. And it was aimed directly at Katsuki's chest, who was too stunned to react in time.
"Not him," I thought. "He has to be number one. He has to win."
There was no time to plan. My legs moved on their own, driven by a lucid panic. I launched myself into the space between them.
"KATSUKI!!" I shouted his name one last time, just as the red light flooded my vision.
The impact didn't hurt at first. It was as if the whole world was erased. I felt immense pressure, followed by an icy cold that spread from the center of my chest. The roar was deafening, but only to others; for me, time stood still.
I saw Katsuki's face.
For a second, the anger and determination in her red eyes vanished, replaced by an expression of utter shock and pure horror. Her lips formed my name, but I couldn't hear it. The world blurred, a jumble of orange and black.
The force of the attack threw me backward, and I felt consciousness slipping away like water through my fingers. I fell onto the rubble, and the last thing I registered before total darkness enveloped me was Katsuki's heart-wrenching scream, a roar of pain and fury that seemed to crack the very sky.
