Hajime Sugoroku

Hajime Sugoroku (双六一) is one of the chief wardens of Ward 13 in Nanba Prison.

He wears the standard Nanba guard uniform: a black jacket with a white shirt and red tie, black knee-high boots with red soles, a red belt with a gold buckle, white gloves, and a cap with the gold Nanba emblem. The uniform also includes a red armband with the number 13 on his left arm, gold shoulder straps, and gold decorations on his shirt collar. With Jugo - Hajime distrusts Jugo the most, always keeping an eye on him, because Jugo, in Hajime's opinion, is very dangerous. With Uno – Uno enjoys teasing Hajime, but Hajime often calms Uno down by giving him magazines with beautiful girls. After the incident where Hajime beat up Jugo, Uno has a hard time trusting Hajime. With Rock – Rock enjoys teasing and challenging Hajime to fights. Hajime irritates Rock with his antics, but uses Rock's love of food to quickly calm him down. With Momoko Hyakushiki, Hajime is somewhat afraid of Namba, the warden, because he hides the facts of the 13th cell's escapes from her. In reality, Hyakushiki has feelings for Hajime and often becomes embarrassed after their encounters, but he stubbornly ignores this, seeing only a competent warden and respecting her for it. Mitsuru Hitoko Little is known about their relationship, but Mitsuru claims they're best friends. Hajime is usually irritated by his antics, and Mitsuru helps conceal Cell 13's escapes from his superior.

Samon Gokuu Hajime and Samon have a very intense rivalry. They mostly squabble like children, but there are also some serious ones (Samona is much weaker than Hajime).
