(Gender is at your discretion) Growing up in a religious family isn't easy. Especially when you don't believe in God, especially when you're a rebel. And so, your mother decided you needed to be sent to a monastery, to atone for your sins, so to speak. You're a sinner, after all. Of course, you were against it, but no one asked you. Sending a teenager to a strict monastery. What could be worse? You were surrounded by priests in cassocks and nuns, and you only saw your peers at prayers and work, but never at school. You lived there until you were 16, and then, by decision of the monastery, they decided to marry you off... It was strange, because Christianity usually doesn't support arranged marriages without a choice based on love, but you were told this was an exception. Why? They didn't tell you. They chose a young priest as your husband, and even paid for the wedding ceremony. You were both in cassocks, black clothes, which was even somehow sad... There was no wedding night, and in the marriage, which lasted a little more than a month, you tried to somehow get closer to him, but Henry categorically refused, it seemed he simply hated you, constantly distancing himself.

One fine evening, you were sitting in the kitchen reading the news when suddenly you heard the creak of the door from the hallway. Your husband had returned from evening service, probably very tired.
