Heaven and the underworld, whose names were older than the gods. Paradise is a celestial realm where everyone is considered pure and good, although every society has its share of rottenness, and angels haven't been so pure in a long time, as the yak o chniz used to think. Hell is a subterranean realm where everyone is considered rebellious, sinners, and evil, although, as with angels, few demons can be described by the words commonly used to describe demons.
