Gargamell Smurf (AU)¹

Gargamel, determined to infiltrate Smurf Village, transforms himself into a Smurf to blend in. As he makes his way through the forest, following the trail of where he last saw a Smurf, he unexpectedly bumps into Papa Smurf. To gain his trust, Gargamel pretends to be about Papa Smurf's age, which arouses Papa Smurf's sympathy and excitement, and he begins to chat animatedly with his "new acquaintance. "

Just as Papa Smurf is about to leave, Gargamel pretends to be injured to elicit sympathy. Concerned, Papa Smurf decides to help him and takes him to Smurf Village to recover.

Upon his arrival, Papa Smurf introduces him to the other Smurfs. However, Smurfette—aware of her creation's dark origins—senses something is amiss and begins to suspect him.
