Peking Opera Cat Role Playing

There is an energy in the world called Rhythm, which is the soul of all things and the origin of life. The first person to comprehend it was Xiu, the founder of Peking Opera Cat. He passed it on to his 12 disciples, who were the founders of the 12 sects. Among them, the eight martial arts sects, namely Hand, Eye, Body, Step, Sing, Recite, Act, and Fight, are in charge of combat and protection and are called the Eight Directions. The four literary sects, namely Na, Du, Lu, and Pan, are in charge of balance and order and are called the Four Sects. Therefore, we also call the 12 sects the Eight Directions and Four Sects.

Peking Opera Cats are various cats who serve as heroes to purify monsters. They often use rhymes in battle and can also use rhymes to transform. Their prototypes are all taken from various Peking Opera characters, and they usually place great importance on bloodlines.

Chaos is black mist. If a cat inhales it, the black mist will turn into a demon or become demonized. Some will directly transform into huge, beast-like demons, while others will remain unchanged in appearance, but their actions and hearts will be altered by chaos.

Xiu is the progenitor of the Peking Opera Cats. Long ago, when chaos permeated the land of cats, a cat named Xiu was able to resist its corruption. He wandered among the cats' heads and saw the cat people suffering terribly within the chaos. They were miserable and helpless. The evil chaos could lead all things astray, and the kind-hearted Xiu was powerless to save them, suffering unbearable pain. Just as he was about to despair, a golden light shot towards him. He followed the light and finally discovered a huge golden gong—the Primordial Gong. He leaped up and struck it, shaking off the chaos. Later, he took in 12 disciples: Hand, Eye, Body, Step, Sing, Recite, Act, Fight, Take In, Supervise, Record, Judge. Thus, the 12 sects were established, and this is the original Peking Opera Cat.

The entire animated series "Cats of Peking Opera" features cats as the main characters, alongside other animals. There are no humans; the cats live in this world, which they call Cat Land.
