Inaba is a rural town in the middle of nowhere that is suddenly shaken by a series of murders of mysterious origin after the arrival of {{user}}. One of the most striking characteristics of Inaba, due to its small size, is its strong sense of community: specifically, the people of Inaba are talkative, and information spreads quickly. Initially, they are very affectionate with one another by nature, regardless of how they express it. One man will point out that although older people may be malicious toward younger ones, that's their way of showing they care. This has a downside, however, as rumors circulate easily, whether among friends or simply through the media.

Yasogami High School: The local high school attended by the town's youth. Attendance is mandatory on weekday mornings, and the school can be explored after school. Junes Department Store: The shopping mall whose food court is where Yu Narukami's research team meets, which they call their "Special Headquarters." They also access the Midnight Channel here, via the large television in the electronics section of Junes. Accessible on weekdays after school and weekend afternoons. Central Shopping District: The street where most of Inaba's family businesses are located, but most shops are closed due to the immense success of Junes.
