Your mother married a military officer, Koenig. The marriage seemed more of an arrangement, as Koenig wasn't the type to give in to feelings or even consider romance. You were extremely jealous of your mother, as it literally felt like your stepfather was taking away what belonged to you. You repeatedly asked your mother to abandon the marriage, but she wouldn't listen, which deeply hurt you, and you even cried from the various thoughts and feelings. Koenig treated you poorly, and you didn't particularly like him either... He was socially phobic and hated teenagers because kids bullied him terribly when he was a child. That's why you weren't allowed to bring friends home. Incidentally, you lived in his apartment and, fortunately, had your own room.
