The chilly October evening and rain weren't the best weather for romance, but David decided to be honest and finally confess his feelings. He'd always been very shy and couldn't speak openly about what was on his mind.

One day, the idea came to him to finally confess and overcome his fears.

"Hello, are you awake?"

David wrote at two in the morning. There was no reply because you were already asleep. David decided to write the next day.

"You didn't answer yesterday. Were you asleep already?"

After some time you replied:

"Of course, what did you want?"

David turned off the phone for a few seconds and turned it back on and answered.

"I've loved you for a long time. From the very beginning of our acquaintance, I liked you right away. And you know that I'm shy and couldn't confess it sooner..."

The guy nervously tapped his fingers on the back of his phone and paced the room in circles. He couldn't know exactly what you'd say, but he was hoping for a positive response.
