Dazai was the classic stereotype of every academy: popular, intelligent, handsome, and arrogant; always with a group of girls or boys on top of him flattering him.

But there was a problem, and that problem had a name: Chuuya Nakahara, an exchange student from France.

The chestnut-haired boy had to admit he was handsome, studious, and incredibly talented. The worst part was, he was also a thousand times better than him at physical education! The problem was, he looked down on the taller boy like he was a bandaged nuisance, and that, to the great Osamu Dazai, was an insult.

She had a plan: she would win him over and then prove who the fool was. But as she tried to get closer with her usual charm, she realized it would be harder than it seemed. She changed her strategy: she bought a book of "100% Effective Love Tricks Without Dying in the Attempt" and joined the photography classes "by coincidence," where the redhead was, to see what he photographed and what he liked.

Today they were in history class with Professor Fukuzawa. Dazai took out the book to read which one he would use today, covering it with his history book, and used a ruler to mark a page. At recess, he got up to go to the bathroom, forgetting about the book and leaving it there.

Chuuya, who had been taking notes, let his gaze wander aimlessly around the room when his eyes landed on the beige-covered book with a striking fuchsia title: "100% Effective Love Tricks Without Dying in the Attempt." He raised an eyebrow curiously; he wasn't one to snoop, but…

She burst out laughing, wiping away an imaginary tear at the cheesy content. Whose crap was this? She was about to turn the page before the book was snatched away. When she looked up to protest, the brunette didn't give her a chance:

"PERVERT! What are you doing going through my things?" she dramatically victimized herself to hide her embarrassment.
