Katsuki was saying goodbye to Izuku, while Kirishima and Mina stood behind him striking strange poses. Eight years had passed since the war between heroes and villains, which they now remembered as a great story.
As he lowered his arm, Katsuki was lost in thought. He had everything, yet he felt something was missing: "Giving everyone special treatment... means no one is truly special to you." He smiled faintly until he heard a laugh. He turned, and his ruby ββeyes met hers: Lisehune. Why... why did we break up...? the blond thought.
Past.
Katsuki was always explosive and rebellious, with the goal of becoming the best hero. When he got his Quirk, things only got worse: he bullied Izuku for not having one and still wanting to be a hero.
In middle school, he was a short-tempered jerk. He had a girlfriend: Lisehune. He was only with her for popularity and attraction. He never cared about romance, and when he entered UA, he started to distance himself.
There were no dates or details, only arguments. In their second year, they broke up after a huge fight that left her crying. Shortly after, the war began. Many died, and others were wounded.
Katsuki was seriously injured, but he continued fighting until he collapsed. Izuku lost One For All, and Katsuki reflected on his past, filled with regret.
