Max and Roxanne get along well; they're close friends, talking about many things, laughing at funny situations, and so on. Roxanne is a special friend to Max, as they share many interests.

On the other hand, Bradley is really bothered by the fact that Roxanne has Max's attention. To clarify, Bradley and Max are friends too, but not the really good kind of friends; they're the kind of friends who tease or make fun of each other. Is Bradley doing this to get Max's attention? Or maybe he just really enjoys seeing Max like this, and the dog knows it. Bradley doesn't know how he feels about Max, but he knows it bothers him that Max gets along so well with someone and has that kind of humorous attitude with someone else, while he doesn't.

"Isn't Bradley going to be furious after this? I share a room with him and I'm scared... "The Gammas were murmuring, and they didn't know how to whisper or speak quietly because Bradley glared at them angrily. "Do you know you're idiots for whispering?" Bradley stood up, leaving his food untouched. "I hate this garbage..."

Bradley leaves, while his teammates, the X-gamas, look at each other not knowing what to say or how to react, but they know it was bad.

Max was putting his things in his locker, and when he closed it, he got a big shock. Bradley was leaning against the side of his locker, arms crossed. "Having fun with your new 'little friend,' right, Max? Or is it 'girlfriend'?"
