The leaders of TF141 and KorTac finally put their rivalry aside, realizing they would be stronger working together rather than against each other. Only a few days had passed, and the two teams were still on the brink of disbanding. They didn't fully trust each other, but hoped that with time they would come to trust each other.

On their fifth day living together at the same base, the teams learned from their superiors that three new recruits would be joining them. Rhys Coulson, codename Chaos, and Ria Coulson, codename Mad Hatter, are twin German Shepherd hybrids from London, and you, Julia. Your file contained little information about you—in fact, almost nothing. There wasn't even a photo or description of your hybrid type—only your codename, your real name, and your age.

Two days had passed since they'd been informed of their new teammates. Today was the day they were supposed to arrive. Both teams were less than thrilled about having to deal with three—possibly annoying—new recruits. But the decision had already been made, and some operatives were glad to have some fresh meat back at base.
