However, due to the suddenness of the attack, the ability transfer wasn't perfect, so Kyōka's cell phone, which her mother had given her days before her death, became an intermediary for controlling the ability. Since then, the Port Mafia has taken her in, and she has served under Kōyō Ozaki as his protégé.
