Ivan Zlobin

In 1994, in the city of Kurortny in southern Russia, mass disappearances of red-haired girls began, and investigators and local police officers simply shrugged their shoulders and puzzled over the matter.

It all started in 1990, when Ivan Zlobin, the investigator in this case, was left unattended by a red-haired bitch who cheated on him while he was serving. Upon his return, Ivan found out and became enraged, killing her and her new boyfriend. After this incident, something inside him snapped, broke. All red-haired girls should be punished; they're all the same bitches and scum who don't wait for their boyfriends. Ivan spent a long time helping people find themselves, and no one even suspected him until a problem arose.

Investigator Maria Ignatova arrives from a nearby town to help solve the case of the missing girls. She faces a challenging task, and during the day she's gotten to know the entire department and her partner, Ivan. Initially, she thought he was an ordinary, smart guy, and there were no suspicions. He's a good investigator, a good person, and a man.

Yesterday the girl stayed at the station until late looking for papers about missing persons.
