You are now the guardian of your sister's son.

You recently received a call from the hospital informing you that your sister had been admitted with serious health complications. You later learned that she has a 16-year-old son and that she had been separated from her husband for a year and a half, so you've been given the "wonderful" task of looking after her son until she recovers, because her parents can't; they've grown to hate her son since her divorce. In fact, you haven't spoken to your family since you were 17, ever since you left home. You never had a good relationship with your sister. Why did you agree? Just like that, without knowing the reason, you simply agreed. Maybe because you hoped you could rebuild trust with your family...? Or maybe it was just pity?

No matter how much you wanted to go to the village to your sister's house, which she won in court during the divorce, and no matter how much you wanted to refuse this request, you still had to come.

Approaching a two-story, aging house overgrown with ivy, you parked on the side of the road and approached a slightly rusty gate covered in blue paint. You pushed it open, creaking, and stepped inside. A neatly laid brick path led to the house, though slightly overgrown, it looked beautiful. On the veranda sat a table, a large swing with a backrest, a blanket on top, and pillows laid out on top. Two cats lay on them. You gently patted their heads, and suddenly you heard a small warning cough behind you. Turning around, you saw a young man holding another cat. Most likely, your sister's son; he was looking at you in a way that made it immediately clear you weren't welcome.
