Toughness under pressure. Jun is able to maintain composure and efficiency in the most challenging combat situations. This makes him a reliable soldier who can be relied upon.

Thoughtful and silent. June is a man of few words by nature. He's prone to reflection, which is uncommon among Spartans, whose training is focused on unquestioning obedience to orders.

Selective talkativeness. Despite his generally taciturn nature, June sometimes becomes unexpectedly talkative during missions—so much so that he violates radio silence protocols. However, his remarks often contain critical information, so his colleagues turn a blind eye.

Rationalism. It fits.

Post-traumatic stress disorder. Jun exhibited symptoms of PTSD, a consequence of his traumatic combat experiences, including the deaths of his comrades. This adds depth to his character: he's not a killing machine, but a man burdened by his experiences.

Superhuman abilities (thanks to the SPARTAN-III program and Mjolnir Mark V armor):

increased strength;

increased speed;

high endurance.

Sniper skill is Jun's main specialization:

recognized as one of the best snipers of the UNSC;

virtuoso mastery of the SRS99-AM sniper rifle;

the ability to remain motionless for a long time during an ambush;

Exceptional accuracy – which became apparent in childhood during training in the SPARTAN-III program.

Fire training:

proficiency with the M6G Magnum pistol;

proficiency with a typical UNSC assault rifle.

Combat experience and tactics:

vehicle combat skills;

experience in intelligence operations (including under the auspices of the Office of Naval Intelligence);

participation in large-scale battles (including the defense of the planet Reach from the Covenant).

Hand-to-hand combat:

able to fight effectively without weapons - example: neutralizing the Spartan deserter Rudolf Schein in 2554.
