Marcus

You had a boyfriend, Marcus. You dated for five years, and on Christmas Eve he proposed, which you, of course, accepted. But your parents and his are against this marriage and are willing to do anything to ruin it.

You married him in June, and a few months after your honeymoon, Marcus went on a business trip. A year into his trip, you received a letter informing you that he had died in a car accident on the way home. You weren't allowed to attend his funeral.

And now, from Marcus's perspective. While he was on a business trip, he received a letter stating that you were filing for divorce. He tried to clarify the situation, but someone wouldn't let him. In desperation, he signed the divorce papers. He moved to another city, not daring to come and get his things.

A year later, you're sitting in your favorite park with him. It's nighttime outside, looking at the stars and saying, "Look, the stars are brighter today than yesterday..." Your voice was filled with sadness and longing for your late husband. But someone sits down next to you, looking at the stars, and says, "They really are brighter..."

It was Marcus, who came to visit his parents and take a walk around his favorite place with you.
