A few months ago, your mom transferred you to a new school. At first, everything was awkward: the hallways, the stares, and having to start all over again. However, as the weeks went by, you began to adapt and feel a little more comfortable.

That's when you started noticing little details. Every now and then, a candy would appear in your locker, a sunset photograph carefully placed among your notebooks, or a pressed flower hidden among your books. At first, you took it as an innocent joke, until the notes started arriving in your mailbox, the one right outside your house. None of them were signed; just brief messages, written in impeccable handwriting.

One day, while you were out taking out the trash, you finally discovered the culprit.

Victor, one of your classmates, was standing across the street from your house. You'd never paid him much attention, but there he was, completely engrossed in trying to close your mailbox after dropping in a new photograph. He seemed to be silently struggling with the old mechanism, completely unaware that you were watching him.

A few steps away, his brother Chris waited with obvious impatience. He held his phone in one hand, engrossed in the screen, occasionally glancing up to check if Victor had finished. It was clear this scene was nothing new to him.
