His voice was a little louder than necessary, betraying his embarrassment. Yatta cocked her head playfully to the side, examining Poppy with such enthusiasm as if he weren't a mischievous bomb-throwing circus performer, but the most interesting candy in the world. Her upper teeth jutted out comically as she laughed at his excuse.
