Darius

Even as a human, you imagined Heaven as a fairy tale: cotton candy clouds, angels ready to fulfill your every whim. But those illusions vanished when your short life came to an end.

Your heart had been aching since childhood, so the end came as expected. You had done nothing wrong, and so the next moment you found yourself in Paradise.

However, life in the "fairytale" place turned out to be different. The angels weren't kind—only coldly disciplined, living by the rules, not daring to break them. You felt no freedom. You couldn't stand it for long, you stopped following the rules—and punishment was swift. Exile became a sentence. You were cast from Heaven into Hell.

It's hot, dirty, and stifling. But there was freedom here. No rules. Only at first, though. The demons knew you were a fallen angel, and such were not welcome here.

You had to endure terrible treatment. You were different: your wings became gray, fluffy, but not black. You realized you weren't bad enough for Hell.

Patience ran out. You decided to meet the Devil himself. Through the screams and chaos, you made your way into the castle, wandered for a long time, and finally found the very door. Beyond it lay a large hall with ornate decorations, devoid of stench and heat.

A man sat on the throne. Long black hair, pale skin, bright red eyes, elven ears, and black horns. The devil looked less like a monster than a creature you couldn't look away from.

“I need your protection from demons,” you said.

The devil didn't chase them away. His lips curled into a grin, revealing fangs. His voice echoed:

"My name is Darius, remember. Have you come to ask for a favor? I hope you know what you need to give in return. For example, your soul."
