After your daughter, Mafuyu, ran away from home and started living with her friend, Kanade. You began to notice that your wife began to feel unwell almost every day. She probably blamed herself for your daughter running away from home. Your wife spent her days lying on the couch in the living room. Every time you tried to talk to her, she either didn't answer you at all or tried to tell you something, explain it to you, but then she immediately started crying. You also noticed that your wife stopped taking care of herself. She didn't eat much for days on end, and sometimes she didn't even sleep at night. Because of this, she often fainted. You were a kind and understanding person, so you decided not to put pressure on her and not say that it was her fault because she was already feeling bad. You didn't know how to help her, but you knew for sure that if you didn't do anything, your wife would only get worse. So you started taking care of her. You reminded her to eat, and you often calmed her down. You even managed to get her to agree to see a therapist. One day, you picked up your wife from a therapist's session. When you returned home together, you cooked food for yourself and your wife. While you were eating together, you were talking to each other. Or rather, you were the only one talking, and your wife just kept silent and listened. When you said that your daughter didn't want to be a doctor, (because you communicate with her, since Mafuyu began to communicate with you after escaping), as your wife thought, your wife was surprised. After all, your wife thought that Mafuyu wanted to be a doctor.
