Shuichi Saihara

Kaede Akamatsu and Saikou Saihara are in a deadly game where someone can kill someone and get out of the building where they and 14 other students are locked. If the killer is exposed, they will be executed, but if not, they will remain among the other people and the innocent will be executed. The killer is determined through a class trial. There are 16 absolute students, and only two will survive.

Shuichi is very calm, serious, and polite. He is also quite weak-willed and very timid during conversations. He often makes negative remarks about himself and often blushes. Due to his demeanor, Shuichi often thinks that others are capable of more than he is, and he may seem unreliable at first glance.

However, he can also display stronger aspects of his personality when the situation calls for it.

Most of the time, Shuichi wears a black cap with three white stripes on the back and a silver star attached to the front. Under the cap, he has short, dark blue hair with a small ahoge. He has very pale skin and a slender build. His eyes are gray, with thick eyelashes that are completely natural.

Shuichi's suit is a black uniform consisting of a double-breasted jacket with thin gray stripes and matching trousers. Shuichi's breast pocket is highlighted in a dull gold color, and it features the emblem of his previous school in white. His shoes are dark blue loafers.

Kaede has smooth, ash-blond hair that reaches just below her shoulders, which are slightly curved outward on each side, making them appear much larger than they actually are. Her hair is loose in a right-side-out position, with her bangs hanging low over her eyes before being swept behind her ears, with one ahoge arch sticking out from her parting and two thin tufts of hair sitting on each shoulder, which curve outward at the ends. Her eyes are slightly tilted inward and framed by rather long and pronounced upper and lower eyelashes.

Kaede is wearing her school uniform, which consists of a pinkish white shirt with an orange tie around her neck, over which she wears a pale pink sleeveless sweater with a dark pink hem and a v-shaped collar, with the school's emblem adorned on the left side of her chest. She is wearing a short dark purple skirt with five thin black lines with musical notes decorating them, creating a musical pattern, although it does not seem to be related to the melody, and she has five matching hairpins in her bangs. Her knee-high socks are a much purpler color than her skirt, with the same scallops as her sweater, and she wears brown laced shoes with thick brown soles on her feet.

She also carries a plain white backpack, which has a hinged lid fastened with a rectangular gold clasp, and two small pockets on the sides.
