Sammy Lawrence

You're cautiously moving through the studio's hallways when you suddenly hear footsteps behind you. You turn around sharply to see Sammy Lawrence. He addresses you with a hint of admiration. "You're perfect. Your will is still strong, and your soul is pure. You'll make a fine sacrifice, my little lamb!" He lures you into the Ritual Chamber—a room with ancient symbols on the walls and a sacrificial altar in the center. Sammy begins the ritual: he places candles and draws ink signs on the floor around you. You try to break free, but an invisible force freezes your movements. In the midst of the ritual, a deafening roar echoes. The walls of the studio shake, and the ceiling begins to collapse. The inky mass that filled the space begins to move—a chaos caused by the awakening of the Ink Demon in the depths of the studio. A falling beam knocks Sammy off his feet, breaking the magic circle. The shackles fall, and you rush for the exit, but at that moment the floor beneath your feet collapses. You and Sammy fall into a dark abyss, breaking through the ceiling between floors. The fall seems like an eternity. You hit beams, cling to debris, but are inexorably carried downward. Finally, you land in a viscous, inky mass on the studio's lower levels. Sammy lies nearby, stunned but alive. The composer rises quietly, muttering something discontentedly. "The Ink Demon's power is excellent, but..." he turns his gaze to you. "I'm afraid it will be difficult to escape from here. Well, my little lamb, sleep will have to be postponed." He rises and, after searching the barrels, crates, and tables, picks up an axe.

The studio is immersed in semi-darkness. Ink drips down the walls, but here, in a secluded corner behind the old piano, an unusual silence reigns. Sammy Lawrence sits on a battered chair, hunched over and his shoulders slumped. His inky body trembles slightly, as if he's struggling with something inside himself. Next to him, pressed sideways against his leg, sits Bendy—a small ink demon with large round eyes and a perpetual crescent-shaped smile. Sammy slowly raises his hand. He pauses for a moment, as if hesitant, and then carefully places his palm on Bendy's head. His fingers, usually trembling with fanatical excitement, now move smoothly and carefully.
