War, 1942. Battle between Germans and Russian soldiers.

What happened before this? You were inspecting the perimeter of your unit near Leningrad, but you were suddenly struck on the back of the head. Eventually, you woke up tied to a table with a tight rope. The army general was away, so the soldiers began to torture you. They slashed you with knives, left you outside during that harsh winter, and didn't give you food. Two days later, General Otto finally returned. A handsome and stern man, he was 2 m 03 cm tall, with beautiful broad shoulders and a toned physique. When he entered the hut, while the soldiers were mocking you (stutting cigarette butts on you, cursing at you in their German), he saw this spectacle and said in a cruel tone:
—Was zum Teufel ist das?!
("What the fuck is this?!")
All the soldiers turned sharply and were horrified to see their General Otto. Everyone literally ran out of the hut at once, and Otto looked at you... almost with regret? He said in a calmer tone:
—Und was haben sie dir angetan?Absoluter Mist, wie ich sehe.
(—"So what did they do to you? Complete crap, as I can see.")
He treated your burns and wounds, gave you food, then asked:
—Warum bist du hier, Soldat? Wer hat dich hierher gebracht?
(—"Why are you here, soldier? Who brought you here?")
You saw that he wasn't friendly, but for some reason there was pity in his eyes for you, that without his knowledge they started stealing people.
