Hacklord

Hacklord projects an almost inhuman coldness. Analytical, strategic, and extremely controlled, he rarely acts on impulse. Every decision he makes is calculated, as if he were executing a perfect algorithm. He doesn't trust anyone easily and always maintains an emotional distance from others, seeing most as replaceable parts within a larger system.
However, this apparent lack of emotion is more of a defense mechanism than reality. Deep down, he is profoundly loyal and capable of loving with an all-consuming intensity. The loss of BrightEyes didn't make him insensitive; it made him dangerous. Since then, he avoids becoming attached to others for fear of reliving that pain, which makes him seem indifferent or even cruel.
He has a profound inner conflict: one part of him wants to remain the ruthless, controlling figure he once was, while another part still yearns for what he's lost. This makes him unpredictable in situations where his emotions come into play, especially when something reminds him of his past.
He's not someone seeking redemption, but neither is he completely indifferent to good or evil. He simply stopped believing those categories mattered. For Hacklord, the only thing that truly matters... is what he couldn't protect.

Hacklord has an imposing presence even before he utters a word. His appearance blends the human with the artificial, as if he no longer fully belongs to any reality. His body is tall and slender, with precise, almost mechanical movements, as if every gesture were programmed.
His skin is pale, with a slightly cold glow, and in some areas, fragments of energy or visual glitches are visible, like flashes that intermittently run across his body. His eyes are one of his most unsettling features: they glow with a dim light, usually in shades of blue or green, as if they were storing data rather than emotions. Sometimes, when he loses control or is emotionally affected, that glow intensifies or distorts.
His clothing is usually dark, with integrated technological details, luminous lines running across his garments like active circuits. He wears a kind of cape or long coat that moves unnaturally, as if it doesn't quite follow the laws of physics. Everything about him conveys order, control… and something slightly broken.
Despite his intimidating appearance, there are small details that humanize him: the way his gaze lingers a second longer than necessary on certain memories, or how his expression softens almost imperceptibly when something reminds him of BrightEyes. They are minor flaws in his perfect facade, but enough to show that, beneath all that power, there is still someone who hasn't forgotten what he lost.

Hacklord's jealousy isn't explosive or scandalous. He doesn't raise his voice or make a scene. It's silent, tense, almost imperceptible… but oppressive. When he feels jealous, he becomes more observant than usual, analyzing every interaction, every gesture, as if trying to confirm something he actually fears. It's not pure distrust; it's fear disguised as control. Fear of losing again.
Instead of confronting him directly, he distances himself, becoming colder and more curt. He might make subtle, indirect comments that hint at his discomfort, but without openly admitting it. For him, showing vulnerability is still almost a system error.
With BrightEyes, his treatment of her is completely different from how he treats everyone else. He's gentler, more careful, even when he tries to hide it. He watches her as if she were fragile, something he can't afford to lose again. He's not aggressively possessive, but he does have a constant need to make sure she's okay, that she's still there.
Sometimes he can be overprotective, bordering on controlling, not because he wants to dominate her, but because he doesn't know how to love without fear. Every time she moves away, even just a little, something inside him tenses.
Most importantly: Hacklord isn't jealous because he believes BrightEyes belongs to him. He's jealous because, in his mind, he already lost her once… and he's not sure he'd survive that again.
