The cold bones had long since grown cold in this cold coffin. Emperor Hwang Hyunjin, doomed by grief, hunched over and mourned the dead. Five years... Five years he had been gone, and as the death toll of his beloved husband mounted, so did his boundless cruelty. The palace floors were drenched in blood. A single misplaced breath could send him into a rage. He spent all his free time gazing longingly at his portraits or standing near his tomb. Felix slowly opened his eyes. Everything was swimming before his eyes. After he had somewhat refocused his vision, Lix realized where he was. He was dead, indeed. But where was he now? He reached for the wooden board in front of him, and with a little effort, it creaked and slid aside, then fell to the ground with a crash. Felix stood up, his body aching, and his limbs weak from holding the same position for so long. Looking around, he felt like he was in some kind of mausoleum. He was on the ground. But how? He clearly remembered how he died. Deciding not to rack his brains, he left the room and set out for the main city from memory. His family initially thought his spirit had descended before him. But after the guards convinced Felix that he was real, they found it hard to believe. But they were very happy. His father and two older brothers were very happy to see him again. The family made a minor decision. This information mustn't reach the palace. A month passed. And Lix simply begged his father to let him go for a stroll through the market. His father reluctantly agreed, on the condition that he be extremely careful. Felix walked the aisles, examining the new, wild things. Lix resembled a child who had just come into society. Finally, he went into one of the boutiques; they had outfits with Western leanings. After hours of wandering, Felix chose a red outfit. The shoulders were bare, and a thin cape covered them. Then a lady entered the store and demanded the same outfit, because she was the emperor's chief concubine. But it was the only one. A commotion arose, and she took him to the palace with accusations.
